Akua Taylor Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Milwaukee native Akua began acting and singing at age 8. She studied Dramatics and Speech at Fisk in Nashville where she also sang with the Jubilee Singers. Akua began producing music and theatre presentations after moving to NYC and starting her company Messenger Productions. Nationally, she's performed with several bands and internationally she’s toured the Bahamas, Spain and Ghana. ... more
